Businesses can place an order for a number of kits (each box contains 25 kits and businesses must order in a multiple of 25), which will be procured and packaged by chamber staff and/or volunteers, following which the participating business will be notified of a time and date for picking up the kits at the chamber’s office. The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce will act as the conduit between the Government of Ontario and the local business community by helping to access these kits through its online portal. Rapid testing is critical to curbing the spread of the virus and allowing businesses to reopen safely. These rapid self-screening tests will play an essential role in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, by allowing businesses enhanced workplace screening to identify and isolate COVID-19 cases among their staff, thereby keeping their employees, workplaces and customers safe. In partnership with the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada, the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is pleased to provide free COVID-19 rapid self-screening kits to small and medium-sized businesses with 150 and fewer employees, that are high risk and essential workplaces, throughout the Greater Sudbury region.
